Brian Lawrence Joseph
November 3, 1971 - July 11, 2005

Dear Friends,

It is with great sadness in our hearts that we inform you that Brian Joseph passed away after a valiant fight against cancer. Whether you knew Brian as a co-worker, as a trusted Audio Engineer, or as a close friend, we all knew him as an amazing person who never gave up and always had an undefeatable positive attitude. He will be missed.

A photo album celebrating the life and times of Brian has now been posted. Please click here to view the album.

Read Brian's Obituary from the Ishpeming paper, The Mining Journal.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11:00a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2005 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming with Fr. John Shiverski officiating. Burial was in the Ishpeming Cemetery.

Audio engineer, roadie, veteran, and role model. Brian’s work ethic, stamina, and courage impressed and inspired all he came in contact with. Having met us in 1995 while working for MacPherson Audio, Brian joined Alford in October 2000 after serving in our country’s 82nd Airborne Division. No individual had more positive impact on his fellow workers in a shorter period of time. Always at the top in number of road days, Brian was equally adept as A1 or Systems Engineer.

Brian’s brave physical battle galvanized his many coworkers and friends and his humor and positive attitude in the face of adversity will not be forgotten.

Brian Joseph is the fourth inductee into the Alford Wall of Honor. He joins Danny Harris, Don Turnbow and the late Olin Terry. Steve Alford presented a copy of the plaque to Brian and his family in June of 2005. The original plaque is always on display in our corporate headquaters in Coppell, Texas.
